About Us

Hello! My name is Mary and I am a Vancouver based Maternity and Newborn baby photographer, with over 20 years of photography experience.

 

I love taking photos of Newborn baby’s and mothers to be, I really enjoy that feeling when I capture and document their most cherished journey. Years ago, I started out in photography as a photojournalist and then become a photography teacher. While I have always loved the journalistic magic that I could create with my camera, I really enjoyed capturing the beauty of people & families. This then sparked a desire to further my passion for capturing and creating these cherished memories, and joining my talents for capturing & retelling stories with my camera.

 

I am a mother of two amazing kids. I also know the speed at which newborns grow, and in the blink of an eye they grow so tall! It seems like it was just yesterday that both my six and four year old’s were only just learning to laugh, crawl, and walk. While these moments don’t last forever, I know that the memories still can. As an experienced Maternity and Newborn Photographer and also a mom I use a unique approach to my photography.
